    Hi Marty,
    Please add
    Camera.main.aspect = 0.666f;

    to any of the script in Start() function.

    It will work.

    Unity doesn't generate the apk.

    I add in GameManager.cs to line: 38

    void Start ()
    {
    Camera.main.aspect = 0.666f;
    scoreText = GameObject.Find("Score Text") .GetComponent<TextMesh>();

    etc...

    But doesnt' work!

    Hi Guys, can anyone please confirm that this is working on iOS devices, i.e. the main functionality (touch, basic gameplay etc)?

    What features that support by this plugin?

    Read the reviews on the asset store page.

    I bought this package a week ago and while it is nice, easy to edit, there are serious issues.

    Overlapping jewels is the biggest problem for me, I haven't tested on mobile yet but in the unity editor I can see the game hang momentarily now and then especially when multiple jewels matched simultaneously. Another reviewer indicated mobile performance is poor which I'd believe.

    @Chandan - please fix these issues asap. Game is useless without an update.

    just got this, and was playing the first level. how do you beat the level? it goes on and on forever, is there something I should set for it to finish, beat, complete the first level? is there a event fired once its complete beat, finished?

    There is no "missions", just a bunch of different map layouts each with infinite play. You have to program in conditions and triggers. It's a very basic package, but if I were you and considering using this for mobile, I'd wait for the dev to release an optimization update or else consider one of the higher priced packages. This one is pretty much useless without an mobile optimization update.

    Similar to what JuicyMango wrote in the last page, this was never answered and since you asked for bugs...

    Bugs:
    1. When a four in a row is made as candy drops down, a horizontal/vertical striped candy isn't made. They only form when it is the direct match, but never when they are the result of falling matches (e.g. after making a match3, more candy falls and a match4 is created but no special piece).
    2. When you swap a multi-colour ball another color the game often freezes (check your own webplayer and mango's post on prior page, it happened to me as well). It appears to work fine if you swap it with a striped candy.
    3. The board should start without any matches, yet matches possible, this is standard fare for a match3.
    4. The board should shuffle if no matches found, it ends the level currently.

    Question:
    A. Normally you can create a special candy (explosive in Candy Crush) when you make special shapes (e.g. an L shape or T shape). This doesn't occur - is this functionality to be added? Is it possible with your match algorithm?

    #1 is the really, really big issue. #3 and #4 should be implemented. #2 I'm sure can be fixed, and A is nice to have, but #1 is critical for a match3 starter kit. Otherwise, this looks really fantastic, just give it a little polish and you'll have the best match3 starter kit on the Asset Store!

    Hmm sadly, this asset looks great but is not supported properly much like the 3 Match Starter by Unicorn studios. Heads up on that one: it uses an old demo version of NGUI (2.x), so unless you have pro to get the old version you have to live with the annoying watermarks.

    There is one other match 3 that looks ok but it requires the 2D toolkit and lean tween which makes it a bit too expensive all up for me. Anyone know of a decent 3match kit that actually works properly for mobile?

    I am using this asset for my game.
    I want one of those candies to be static. Like there shouldnt be any clone of that candy !
    Can you please guide me to do so ? Im having a hard time in understanding the code of instantiation of the code.?
    Please reply asap.

    I'm implementing a game like this too. The way i find a T and L patters is in this form:

    findHorizontalMatches
    findVerticalMatches
    mergeMatches
    each match is a set of three o more continious pieces with the same type.
    i have two variables for each piece: isMatchV, isMatchH that i fill when a piece is part of a match of this type.
    and two variables matchV, matchH witch is the match at witch this piece belongs.

    so inside mergeMatches when in a match i have a piece with isMatchV==T && isMatchH==T then this piece belong to two matches, so i join the matches and i can save where the special piece is.

    i spect that i help you.
