This seems very promising, do you have a trial version? So far i had a million problems with other solutions unfortunately.

I'm working on a big update based on some feedback, and will make a Trial of that version.

I'll send a PM for more info.

    Hi,
is it possible with your solution to capture higher resolutions than my monitor is capable of.
I mean, is it possible to make a video in 4k, while my monitor does not support the size?

If so, I would be interested in a trial, too.

    regards
    Mirko

Yes, you can record or take a screenshot at any resolution (even grater then your monitor)

keep in mind it's "Frame-rate independent recording"...which means you can record in say 4k @ 60fps, but it may not be "Realtime" depending on your computer. Think "slow motion" if your system can't render fast enough.

Does it record audio? I don't see mention of that anywhere...

    currently no

The problem is getting the exact samples played during a single frame.
Since this lets you record at a framerate your system may not be able to handle in real time, direct recording of sound is not usable as it would be out of sync.

This is something I hope to solve.

No problem, I saw that when I opened the help file about a week ago and looked at it closer. I found one that does audio and video sync, so I'm good, thanks anyways. Audio is as important for us as video, otherwise I'd just use ffmpeg and Unity's framed screenshot render. Best of luck.
