Free version is ready to download!

    Link: Armory Crafter FREE version.

Free version have less models to combine but you can still export as prefab and obj. Try it and evaluate if it fits with your game project before purchasing the full version.

    @KevIU ,

Can you assemble weapons and armour in runtime?

Only weapons and shields can be assembled using Armory Crafter but it only works inside of Unity, building the scene and running it outside of Unity won't work.

@Duffer123, Armory Crafter assembles weapons and shields in runtime and can export as .prefab and/or .obj because it's a play-mode editor.

If you mean to use Armory Crafter in other scene, I'm afraid that is currently not possible. The tool was made to run only in its scene.

    Update. New tutorials.

The way to import your custom models into Armory Crafter is not as easy as I wanted it to be. I've uploaded some tutorials to help you out:

    Armory Crafter Tutorials

I will upload more tutorials like how to add custom textures to the default models that come with the tool.

It seems that the asset you linked have their models in one single mesh. You will need to use Blender or other 3D software to split them into weapon parts submeshes.

I explain my way to do that in this first video: Preparing the model for importing into Armory Crafter.

But, even after that, you will need to use a 3D software to import the parts into the file that recognize Armory Crafter.

I explain how to in this other video: Importing your custom parts into Armory Crafter.

So you will have to go for the two tutorials if you want to use that asset with the tool. With an asset like this other one:
https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/props/weapons/low-poly-modular-weapon-set-112194, would be easier as the meshes are already split and you will only need to go for the second tutorial.

I wanted it to be easier but I couldn't find any other way. I'm open to suggestions and ideas of how to improve the system for adding custom stuff. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Good luck @Duffer123!

    Version 1.3 is now live.
Now all weapons will share the same pommel meshes and axes, hammers and clubs will share the same grip meshes.
Added one more handle mesh to shields and fixed some UI bugs.

@Duffer123, yes, I'm planning an update with polearms that will include weapons like spears, tridents and scythes.
Also I would like to add more meshes to the current weapons available as well as improve some of their textures.

I will try to release it by the end of November, or at least before Christmas.

    Hi @Duffer123,

Currently the max texture resolution to export is 2048x2048. Adding higher resolution options would increase a lot the size of the tool, as I would need to use at least 1024x1024 textures for each mesh part or it will have no effect.

So, for the moment, there aren't any plans of adding higher resolution textures but let me ask you, why would you need higher resolution textures? The texture you see on your model in Armory Crafter is a preview one, a lower resolution texture to make it faster to work with. If you want to see the final texture and the one that will be exported you have to click on the camera icon:

Preview texture (low resolution, before clicking the camera icon)

Final texture (higher resolution, after clicking the camera icon. Is the one that will be exported)

AHH 2048 is fine. I suppose I meant less cartoony?

@Duffer123, I don't have any plans of changing the style or adding parts in a different one, in fact I'm planning to publish more assets with the same artistic look.
