[RELEASED] All in One Game Kit - ELC Character System

    Hey man, I hate to come back with another question but I really have no idea why this is happening. When I'm climbing on a "vines" labeled object and jump off, my character's animations' speed becomes exponentially faster. It is only solved once I climb something that isn't vines (ie a ledge climb). Do you have any idea what this might be?

    how can i make that my enemy attacks a player but based on his tag and not drag the player in enemies inspector ?

    also why when the player joins the lava it damages him but when he joins again nothing happens?

    Hey, I was trying to use the asset but every time I tried to play it said there were compiler errors even though the scripts seemed fine. Any advice?

    Hello. I need just a little bit of help. If possible. Somehow I messed up the respawning. It just won't respawn at the location I want. I'm talking about my Mario game. I made it so that there is a prefab called MarioInject. It puts the player into the scene if there is no player in the scene already and the player is then put in dontdestroyonload. The problem I first noticed is that when I go into a new scene the respawn position is not where I want. I think it's because the respawn position doesn't ever change once it is set. The reason I did the dontdestroyonload thing with the player is so that way I can carry over item collected counts with me to another scene. I didn't know how to do it another way. But now that I think about it I guess I could make something else carry the data and feed it to the player instead or use a persistent file or something to hold the data I want. Ok so then I tried changing the position of the player via script after the respawn so that way it would go where I want but when I do that the player can't walk around anymore or jump in the air. The animations will play and the player can rotate but the player stays in the same location. The player is in the location I want but movement away from that location is impossible. I may have accidentally set it to always update the player's location in the update function to the respawn point now that I think about it. I then tried modifying the respawnlocation and respawnrotation in the health script so that way it changes to the new spawn point in each new scene. But I have messed that up somehow. I'm not sure how or what I did as of this post. I for the life of me can't remember. Staying up all night and coding sometimes doesn't mix too well. I kinda messed up my game and I did so much work on the scripts that are included in your asset. I have a backup. Not a recent one though. I'll lose out on 10 levels, an intro video, and a title screen. Also I've totally changed my scene setup since the backup and the way the game works is kinda different so I'd hate to have to go back to that.

    I guess I could probably easily fix this after a good rest. I've been up again all night again. I'm tired feeling but I'm wide awake. It's like my mind doesn't want to shut down.

    I think all I need to do is redo it so something saves the item data and feeds it to the item manger. And just have the player be in the scenes individually instead of as don't destroyonload so that way the respawning still works as intended.

    I'm having issues with the character sometimes not jumping properly. The animation always plays and sometimes it works so I'm having issues troubleshooting what's happening here.

    I had the same problem. I believe it has something to do with the timers because I set them to += Time.deltaTime and the jumping seemed to work better after that.

    Hey guys. This asset doesn't currently work properly with Unity 2020.1 or newer versions. I recommend 2019.2 for the best compatibility. I am currently working on making my version of the asset compatible with newer unity versions. @Grantrum appears to have gone totally silent for over a year now. I have no idea what has happened to him. If you need help with the asset in general and are using unity version 2019.2 refer to the documentation or the example scenes included. If you need help running on a newer Unity version then you may reply to me or PM me. I know I need the compatibility with newer Unity versions due to assets dropping support for 2019.2. Well anyways. I hope @Grantrum comes back some day.

    Hello everyone! I apologize for being absent. I really appreciate each and every one of you for your support.

    A number of major events recently happened in my life, and unfortunately all of my time, energy and focus had been taken away from game development. During this time, I made small bits of progress improving and fixing up the asset according to your suggestions, but none of it had reached completion. This left me wondering what to do with the "All in One Game Kit - ELC Character System" asset. Without the necessary time to properly support it anymore, I have considered lowering the price to reflect the lack of support, but I feel it would not be right of me to publish any package for which I cannot provide support or that is no longer up to standards, even if it's free. Because of this, I have decided to mark the "All in One Game Kit - ELC Character System" as deprecated for the time being. I really hope to come back to this asset to revamp and update it someday, but until then I feel this is best. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for using my asset, and for all of your trust and feedback over the years. This asset has been such a large part of my life, and it means a lot to me that you all gave it a chance!

    Thank you so much again and I wish you the best in your current and future Unity projects!

    I think you should release new asset sparately that can be combine with oldest asset. Just like importing new script to new feature. That’s just my suggest, sorry my bad english
