We glad to present you an Advanced 3D Platformer Kit. This Kit will help you in the creation of games like Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario and others. And absolutely without programming!

    Try now!
    Purchase now!

    • Create games absolutely without coding using Drag&Drop system! Just drag&drop a script to the GameObjects!

    • Use Unity Free or Unity Pro: it doesn't matter! Advanced 3D Platformer Kit is working with both of them!
    • Real Fast Game-Making: now you can spend your time on planning interesting levels but not on coding them! Actually, the game can be created in 1 day! E.g. we have spent only about 1 hour on making the demo game.
    • Fully source-code! If you want to edit something, you can!
    • Large set of things - everything you need for 3D Platformer:
    1. Change the game logic&design inside Unity Editor. The special script will help you to set whatever you want: alignments of score and bonuses, is there any bonuses at all, is player need to find the exit from level or collect a required amount of bonuses/score, player's lives and more and more!

    2. Create your own custom Player Controller! The set of different parameters will help you to reach exactly what you want!

    3. Detailed Enemy Controller. Set its health, the ability to regeneration, damage, type of movement, time between attacks, bonuses for killing and more!

    4. Collectable things: set their features as you want!

    5. Crashing and moving platforms: they will be useful for making a level more interesting! Or for puzzles, for example.

    6. Teleporters: move to another objects (e.g. another teleporter), another scene or another coordinates! Moreover, you can set a player's offset about another object!

    Hi!

Good start! With more polish could be really great!

    Thanks!
What do you mean under "more polish"?
We are open to suggestions and if you have them, please, share them with us!
(Especially if you bought the package and already used it).

I don't know what he means by "more polish", for me it's not really a case of polish, it's a case of making it feel good. Right now it feels terrible to control a character on your demo. It's slow, clunky, the jump feels terrible, it's slow to respond to the jump button (to initiate the jump) and then when it gets to a high point it floats down instead of falling. The character doesn't feel like it's grounded because it's feet are constantly moving like he's floating in place, the whole thing is a disaster, it looks and feels terrible,

The look and feel of the free Unity Sample Assets third person character controller is 1000x better than what you got, even the old Standard Assets third person controller (which is pretty bad) feels better to control than what you got going on there. How can this be an advanced 3D Platformer Kit (As far as I know 3D platformers CORE MECHANICS are movement) if the core mechanic of 3d platformers works terrible in it?

    Hello, DanielSnd.

Every thing that you described can be changed to make them comfortable exactly for your game. You just need to fill special script's fields as you want.

    Let's analyse each of them:
    • Slow - at first, you can change walk/run mode using F button. And the thing is you can set walk and run speed as you want. If you want faster - make it faster.
    • Clunky - turning speed, the weight as moving speed can be set in the special script filling the fields.
    • Slow to respond to the jump button - actually, it is not slow to respond. Yes, the character is not jumping at once. But the reason is in animation. At first the character prepares for jump and then he jumps. You can enable/disable the jumping delay and set it as large as character's animation needs. So, if you want, you can remove delay at all and the character will jump at once.
    • Floats down instead of falling - again, it depends on what you want to do. You can set the falling animation if you want and the character will use a special animation for falling. But we haven't it, so we left it as it was by default.

So, the character controller is pretty good and better than a standart one , well, in our opinion. The script allows you to really customize as you want: adjusting it to the animations that you have, to the world's physic and to the style of exactly your game.

You are explaining advantages as disadvantages. Almost everything can be changed and edited as you want.

You might want to play with those values so you have a demo that shows good gameplay, that might attract more interested people :) Let me know once you get a demo online that feels good to play with :D

The kit looks very poor, not see a demo.
only the effects of the texts can be seen well. I think you should first prepare a small world and teach the capabilities of your kit, with better animations, now looks very poor, but you can improve.
