Hi there! I want to introduce my new tool, Prefab Place'N'Bake, which is meant to be the best object placing system on the market with baking features for improve the performance and the work speed.

    Launch price!! Only 5$!!
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/?stay#!/content/110536

It will be released this next week I hope, it depends on Unity's staff, so look forward the next days so you don't lose the chance of taking it at the launch price.

    Here's a couple of vids:

It BAKES all the stuff you placed IN A SINGLE CLICK, so you can add detail to the scenes and take care about the performance in the same stroke.
Also you have the PHYSICAL DROP feature, that will make you scatter in a very natural way.

This tool has MORE OPTIONS than any other of its kind, and is very easy to learn. The workflow has been carefully designed.

    LIST OF FEATURES

    • Super Friendly UI and UX
    • Brushes File System
    • Baking of materials and textures
    • Baking placed meshes
    • Physical Drop System
    • Vertex Color Variations (using gradients)
    • Lots of placement settings
    • Randomization options for everything
    • Alignment to Surface and to Stroke
    • Slope avoiding
    • Grouping and sorting options
    • Eraser tool with variable density
    • Precision placement tool
    • Different settings per object (optional)
    • Unity's Undo/Redo compatible
The baking system is compatible with all materials, textures and shaders.

To use this tool you only have to:
    • Create a brush
    • Drag and Drop the desired objects
    • Start painting all over the scene and play with the options!
I hope you like the tool.

And please, let me know any idea, suggestion or bug, so we can make together the ultimate placement tool!

And one more time, I want to say thanks to all the community that shares knowledge on the internet. Without the community this tool wouldn't be possible.

    Thanks!

    Best Regards to you all!

    Hi..
    Just bought the asset!
Im facing a compiler error as below -

Assets/3Dynamite/PrefabPlace'N'Bake/Editor/PrefabPlaceNBakeWindow.cs(43,24): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `PlayModeStateChange' could not be found. Are you missing an assembly reference?

Im using Unity 2017.1.0f3. I do not wish to update as of now, as I got a few projects running on this version.
Please advise how to fix this error.
    Thanks

Hi @Dynamite3D . Cool asset. Just wanted to let you know I'm getting a few warnings in 2018.1.3f along the lines of...

    Assets/3Dynamite/PrefabPlace'N'Bake/Scripts/SceneChangeDetector.cs(24,21): warning CS0618: `UnityEditor.EditorApplication.hierarchyWindowChanged' is obsolete: `Use EditorApplication.hierarchyChanged'

    Hi!
Okay, thanks for the feedback. As far as I know it shouldn't be a problem, but if you experience any trouble let me know.
