Hi everyone! We are a small team "Gears & Brains Labs" aimed to make nice Unity assets and games.

    Here is our first release:
2D soldier character for 2D tactical shooters and platformers
    In Asset Store: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/30580

    PLAYABLE DEMO (WebPlayer)

    Package Includes
A realistic 2D Special Forces soldier animated using: sprite sheets, Mecanim and scripts. Torso and Legs are animated by separate sprite sheets providing flexible design for aiming and bending.

    36 sprite sheets,
    7 props,
    5 sounds,
    3 backgrounds,
    4 exterior sprites.

Animations: weapon up, aim, reloaded, change weapon, idle, walk, run, jump, sit, fall, death. Some of animations are different for two available weapons - Rifle and Pistol:

Scripts for aiming, shooting and controlling the player. You can customize weapons (fire rate, clip size, damage, sound) and player control features.

We uploaded this package in March, got some feedback from first users, polished things and made a first update.

We're adding content and code to this pack (animations, features, optimizations). So, you're welcome with feature requests! If you want to change or add something here - please let us know.

    UPDATE LOG
    v1.1
    - Added a new type of camouflage.
    - Simplified installation and setup.
    - Object hierarchy optimization.

    Plan for next update:
    - Green camouflage.

    Get this package: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/30580

We appreciate any feedback here or at gears.and.brains.labs@gmail.com

ps: Is it complex, or just ok? What should go first in updates - more settings (like shooting modes), or more camos? ...that's our first experience here, trying to get on a right track :)
