    looks good. Might be worth locking the inventory so it doesn't move around while the mouse does though, apart from that its great.

    I think - as julianr said - locking the inventory would be nice. I think players also use the inventory screen as a hidden rest for hectic gameplay, so I think they want it to be static.
    Apart from that, there isn't anything for RE style inventory in the video yet, right?

    I do not agree with you. I create an inventory similar inventory RE4. I do not copy it, I take some features from it and improve them.

    I always write here that you can suggest something.

    Can you explain what is like Resident Evil inventory? Sorry, I didn't follow it from the very beginning, so I don't know what is specific / new.

    As you can see below:
    1. Red colour - inventory area
    2. Blue color - player area (player icons, player inspect)

    As I already wrote before - I can not copying the RE4 inventory, because I do not want troubles with the RE4 development!!!

    Thanks for the screenshots to compare. Can you add a money display and health bar?
    Making the grid perspective (not 2D) and have it a background (like a bag in which things are carried) isn't possible, is it?

    Yes, is it possible, but you must understand that 3D models in the inventory will spend a lot of resources. In modern world when developers are striving for ultra-realistic(or just high) graphics, need powerful computers. I am trying to optimize it but I do not have results!

    1) Health bar as well? Because I think it's very good to see the health when the player goes to the inventory after a hectic gameplay where he perhaps didn't really notice what his health was.

    2) Also: Another question, please:
    Is your inventory blocking? Does it automatically pause the game, or do we need to do this?

    Yes! I created a page where the player can view his health, damages and etc. The page will be available in the next update (I hope, if I have time to).

    The main menu (press Esc) blocks the game (pause game).
    The inventory window (press I) does not block the game, the inventory bloks the player scripts, animations, mouse look, movements, etc.

    I will add this option in the next update! It is easy...

    You do not have to look at the Asset as a game. :)

    Noooo, please don't make it a separate page, please display it on the front page!

    Health is important on front page because you know if you need to use health pack to restore health.

    Ammo on front page is important on front page because you know if you need to switch weapons, reload, etc.

    Money on front page is important because you know how to proceed in the game play.

    Can you also show in your demo video what happens if you have too much stuff in your inventory? How it looks when you drop something. Is there a space where you can deposit stuff to reorder the items in the grid and then put them back in or drop them?

    There is a space popping up as an overlay when you have something selected. On the right side.
    Yes, it's a game in itself. That's why we need your asset and don't quickly do it on our own. :)
    Your asset looks like a very good start.

    I think that every developer know what's he needs. If you need some elements to be displayed on the main page, you can easily change the inventory system without touching the code.

    I will just show you how you can create and integrate in the Asset some function like health bar, notes, maps and etc.

    You can not use them and create your own style, but you have to understand how it works with the Asset(ICWM)!!!

    Just go and watch the videos on my YouTube channel (Video: ICWM Inventory, Update backpack, Update April)

    The Asset has a window (special window named - Stash or Loot) and the window can be activated when you want to reorder your items.
    The scrip InventoryBase has an attribute - Hide Stash - use it!!!

    I would very much like to use your asset, but I already purchased a few inventories and tried free ones and at some point I was frustrated so I still need some more time to evaluate. Your efforts are much appreciated. I would also like the healthstatus and ammostatus on first main page. I see no reason why player should go to different page for basic information. I don't know how difficult it is to change your weapon and modding system to get it to work properly with my requirements so I hope that perhaps this can be a preset or a demo scene where this is already set up for me so that I can start investigation the system and I don't have to spend time before I can evaluate. So if there's a readymade setup it will perhaps show the author possible problems and make life easier for us buyers. Thank you.

    Your asset becomes the ultimate inventory! Perhaps you should rename it. :)
    People who are not totally fixed on older inventories should really think about switching I think.
    Personally I think you should use this image as the first image on the Asset Store:


    I know it's not what you want. Your inventory can do much more but for an eye catcher it's VERY VERY nice.
    Other people will perhaps hate me, but I think you should raise the price so that people understand that it's the ultimate best. Just my personal opinion.

    But yes: Ammo and Health on the entry page please.
    In all games I know ammo and health are up-front.

    I have an additional request: If you have a co-op player (who automatically follows you and shoots on his own) you can equip him with your weapons.
    He has his own health.
    Can you for somewhere on your road map make it so that his health and ammo are also shown on the entry page?
    Can you also make it so that you can give him weapons from you?
    As I said perhaps for a later update.

    I do not want to rename the Asset. I think that in the future the Asset will change and then I will think about renaming the Asset!

    This is beyond the scope of the Asset, but I do not see any problems to add these features, perhaps I can do it in future updates.

    Hello Voo,

    when I want to pick up an ammo, the message "NO PLACE" appears when all space is already full.
    Can you make it by default so that the inventory opens and the loot window pops up? The new empty should appear in the loot window so that the player can think if he wants to drop some other item to have place for this new item?

    I have a question, perhaps also to the others...
    How you handle inventories in difference scenes?
    For example, when you have 50 scenes, you won't put the same inventory into each scene, won't you?

    Hi.

    I think it depends on the scene. If you have 50 scenes in one scene and you switch between scenes (inside the scene) you do not need to multiply the Inventory for each scenes.
    On the other hand, if you have 50 scenes and each scene is separate you need to multiply the Inventory for each scene.

    Really? Can the others also say something about that? I do have like 50 scenes, and I need the inventory in all of them.
    I wonder if the DontDestroyOnLoad would help me. I'm still searching for an example project from Unity in regards to that.

    I not so good understand how it works (making a game, scene etc.).
    You can try to transfer the Inventory to the next scene. I'm sure that Unity has these functions

    Just wondering how well this will work with the UFPS framework?? I'm really tempted to purchase today, seems like everything I need. I'm very skilled in C#, just want to know how much of the code I'll need to change to make it compatible.

    I'm glad that you asked me about UFPS.

    At the moment I don't know how the UFPS works, how to integrate the UFPS into the Asset. Because I do not have access to the UFPS.

    I'm plan to integrate the Asset into assets such as Playmaker, TPC and UFPS. But how long it will take time, I don't know.
    (the list will be replenished)

    For now I'm working on a new update (see ROADMAP).

    I hope that other users (who worked with the UFPS) will answer you.

    Thank you, I'll take the chance and purchase it. Seems very promising. Also will be implementing Photon Networking with it since the project I'm working on is multiplayer based. I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of programming and changing some things but I'm up for the challenge this week.

    This is your choice! Do not hurry, think a little more time!

    And yes, there will be a lot of programming. I did my best do not use complex code! I used simple methods and functions to described procceses.

    Read the documentation and comments on the scripts, methods, attributes etc.

    I do apologize i have an issue where i can't click on any item. i have read through the documents and the forum to see if i could find out why and unless i over look something, i can't i find out why.
