    Hi,
We have some queries regarding development using Unity. We have educational centers wherein people visit and enroll to take up courses on Robotics, IoT, Computer Vision etc. Now we are planning to introduce VR app development using Unity. Below are my queries
    1. Can we use the free version of the Unity in our maker labs (educational centers) for this purpose or is there any other licensing procedure for companies like us?
    2. Can Unity provide certification for the students who take up and complete our course?

We have already tried reaching Unity by posting the query using the contact form and e-mail in the last 2 weeks, but not received any response yet.

    Please do the needful.

Unity Pro, Unity Plus and Unity Personal Software Additional Terms:
If your organization exceeds $100k USD, you need to license Plus. If your organization exceeds $199k USD, you need to license Pro. This is a per-seat license. You can purchase licenses here: https://store.unity.com

    Unity offers several certifications: https://certification.unity.com/

Unity has a special program for educational institutions where they provide free licensing for in classroom instruction, outside of the typical 3 tier licensing system already mentioned. It is called the Unity License Grant Program. You have to apply for it, and you can read more here:

    Edit:
I found the list of qualifications. If your organization doesn't meet these then you'll have to look at the 3 tier licensing, unless you're somehow able to get Unity to give your organization separate approval for the program.
