Question reflection probes STILL bake black after unity upgrade

    URp 10.7 Unity 2020.3.17f1. I used to be able to bake reflection probes now they always bake black. it would be really nice to have reflection probes in my game.

    I'm just trying to get my probes to bake. Thanks for the huge help.

    It's not just me then? I doubt he filed a bug report because he's probably looking for help on how to bake correctly. So am I.

    UPDATE: Problem I had was I was trying to bake a Custom Light Probe while inside of a prefab. Seems this should work since it's just a snapshot of the scene from the probe's position, but it doesn't. The solution is to create a new scene and bake an instance of the prefab from within the scene. Since the reflection probe texture is a resource, it should carry over to the prefab. If it doesn't, make sure to apply your prefab overrides from the lighting scene so it picks up any material changes you make on the prefab. Hope this helps someone!

    Maybe your meshes aren't set to static, if they were, maybe the update changed it
