    Hi all

    COMMANDS:

    [Left-Mouse] = shoot

    [0] = follow cam
    [1] = gun cam
    [2] = wheel cam

    [W], to drive
    [A], [D] left and right

    [Space] to fire missles

    Some fine looking armour there! Do you animate the treads? (Can't access the actual game from here)

    The treads are actually animated UVs that are in turn rigged to the road wheels.

    Hi!

    This game has some good potential!I like it.
    I would prefer cartoony tanks aswell. For multiplayer one could buy custom paints, new turrets, radars and such,(diamond studded tank). Cartoonier tanks would appeal to a wider facebook audience.Dont take out the hardcore tanks, they are cool

    You probably know all this yet, but I say it anyhow:

    Would be nice with an indicator on which direction tank is and turret is.

    Would be nice to not let turret spin wildly.

    I like shooting a lot of missiles and steer them with the mouse. But on impact, the alpha on the explosion is inverted.

    When driving on top of the bridge, my tank got stuck with half of the wheels penetrating the road, the other half on top. I couldnt get out that "state"

    I liked it.. I love tank games, I enjoyed the play.

    Nice enviroment. Looks like it can be a nice game.


    The "bad" things

    SHadows:: look like a saw

    Needs an engine sound, it looks very unrealistic as it is now.

    Didnt like the aim-cross symbol, I would put something mor "minimal" . The red thing is anoying too.

    THe Turret camera is nice, but I cant see the point to the one on the wheels.

    right mouse buton = ZOOM!!!! that would be nice!.

    I could not make it fullscreen, things where to tiny for so nice looking fraphics.

    and thats all :p

    Whats currently in the cooker...

    Red Crucible Tank Game Tech Demo (v.02)

    1. A reload indicator for the missile.
    2. In-game radar as well as a vehicle/turret directional indicator.
    3. Different vehicle speeds.
    4. Slower turret turning speeds (to reduce wild turret tuning).
    5. Smaller targeting reticle.
    6. More stable zoom-in view (this was ok in Unity 2.5 but in 2.6 it has issues...).
    7. Better vehicle engine sounds.
    8. Lots and lots of both code and art optimizations for better frame rates!

    Red Crucible Tank Game Tech Demo (v.03)

    1. Add more ground vehicles, Tanks + helicopters + mobile SAM vehicles + Jets).

    Hi all

    Just wanted to throw out a couple of snapshots of some ongoing work. Along with a massive amount of new content as well an an equal amount of optimization, we wanted to share two screen-shots of the new city level. The plan is to have it a four on four multiplayer map chock full of all kinds of destruction and mayhem! Stay tuned for more updates soon...

    How you make the continuous tracks of the tank? It looks so real.
