I need custom presets for Recorder, I have multiple scenes and without them I have to set 6+ different settings and outputs I have to change, this is a horrible and tedious workflow for virtual production and offline rendering/production.

Is there solution for this or some kind of alternate method to storing custom recorder settings?

Have you tried to save and restore the list you customize in the Recorder Window? Does that accomplish what you need?
You could also script your Recordings using our public API.

I normally copy and paste recording tracks then change what I need in the copy (e.g. output filename).

But writing little scripts to extend the edit environment is one of the things I like about Unity for this sort of work. If its painful enough, you can often (with a programmer's help) create custom tools and hook them in. E.g. I wrote my own scene assembly that drops characters into a scene, puts them on the ground (with ray tracing to find the ground), add an animation track to the timeline, bind it to the character, set "scene offsets" on the track, etc - so one click to do 90% of the repetitive work for me. (But it can be hard to work out the APIs at times to get all the memory management right. E.g. I still have not worked out how to set a "Font" property via script!)

We are aware of the limitations of the UX when it comes to rendering out shots. We will look look at providing some solution to this problem.
To better guide with a workaround for the time being I have a bunch of questions:

Do you use some shot management tools (sequences, live capture, etc, self written) ?
Are you looking to use the Timeline Recorder integration (embed a recorder track in every timeline with a shot) or looking at RecorderWindow?

Do you render 1 shot at a time, or are more doing things like "dailies" ?

    Thank you for your reply.

For better management and the ability to customize FX I'm using Unity scenes for sequences of shots. For instance my intro scene is broken into 11 unity scenes for each unique sequence or groups of similar shots.

Each one of these scenes contains a timeline that manages everything dynamic which is stored with each Unity scene.
(I wrote a post how its also frustrating to have to reopen and lock it every time a scene is open)

I use the Recorder Window to record image sequences for final production assets (dailies) for adobe premiere and lower res videos for quick iterative testing.

Is timeline recorder integration a thing? Perhaps some kind of recorder object for timeline would be amazing!
