    Hello everyone,
I have a Timeline sequence and am using a Recorder track to render the animation to disk. If I render the video as a "normal" video, it renders my canvas containing a raw image (controlled using a script). If I render the video as a 360 view, it does not render the canvas no matter the mode I'm using to display it (both screen space or world space). The thing is, when the video renders, the cancas is rendering properly in the game window, but not in the video.

Is there a way to make the overlay/canvas render properly in a 360 view?

    Thanks

Here are both videos (btw, they are test footage, so please bear with me) :

    With the overlay :

360 without overlay (but there should be one) :

Finally, I found a solution, which gave me some more ideas... I used a plane and added the video player component to it. I placed it in front of the camera as a child and it works.

    Have a nice day.

    Hey ThunderMusic,

I am new with Unity and I am having exactly the same problem as you. The thing is that I am trying to take 360 footage, and add some footage that stays fixed to the middle of the screen, no matter how the user moves the mouse/headset.
Could you give me some details of how you achieved this?
    Thanks in advance,

    Aitor
