    Hi Guys

For Game View vs Targetted Camera, are these 2 really so different that for the 1 you can set EXR colorspace, compression, and for the other not???

Surely EXR should always output linear and you should always have the option to choose compression

    Hey,

The GameView does not support linear (unclamped) colourspaces (it is always sRGB), thus there is no real upside to using EXR linear (a clamped sRGB converted back to linear space).

For the EXR compression options: all the options should be supported for both input types. Mind sharing a screenshot if this is really not the case ?

If the Gameview is always clamped sRGB, then that would explain why tonemapping always looks so totally useless when added to a Global Override Volume! I was wondering why ACES as well as custom values, looks so totally faded and washed out colours.

How can I then see the true "view" of what is going on? Only way is to output a Targeted Camera to Linear EXR and open the EXR in Nuke/Fusion etc??? @vladala
