    Hi,

I've recorded some video which worked well and when I played it back in my game it looked fine but once uploaded to facebook the video is upside down.

I'm using the latest version of Everyplay from the asset store and Unity 5 beta 20, Xcode 6.1.1

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks

    Hi @derkoi

No idea why that is happening - assuming you are using Unity.
We have support for game specific video filters, so we can add custom rotation for your videos.
Existing videos will need to be re-encoded.

Please be patient and ping me here if you have not heard back in a couple of days.

    Cheers

Thanks. What I can't understand is that when I preview the recording everything is fine but once it's uploaded it's upside down. It's as though it's something in the video encoding process.

When you playback the recorded video (preview in video editor) you are using the local files from cache. You won't see any issues with encoder module there. Also, would like to point out that this is not a generic issue. This is specific to your game.

Turning my device over so it flips the orientation to landscape right instead of landscape left seems to fix the issue, so it looks like that could be the cause.

    Hi @derkoi ,

There was an issue on our end which is now fixed and all affected videos have been re-encoded.

    Cheers

    Hi @derkoi

Just wanted to ensure, that you should not have to do this:
"Turning my device over so it flips the orientation to landscape right instead of landscape left seems to fix the issue, so it looks like that could be the cause."

Could you please test this and let me know whether the orientation is correct after uploading?
    This is Metal specific.

    Cheers
