Hi, I'm testing sprite recoloring so the player can choose a color for the characters they are playing as, and posibly for enemies to do something similar. I have the spritesheet for one of the characters, so I though it was as simple as importing another spritesheet with the new colors, but it seems that it isn't as simple as that. I tried using the Secondary Texture on the Sprite Editor but I have no idea what to do with it.

I've searched for an answer but they get super complex or it isn't what I'm looking for. So, is there a simple way to do this or do I have to look into shaders and stuff like that? I've dabbled a little bit with those but I don't know how to use them.
