    Hi, CRISTALSONIC

Did you mean in runtime or game play mode.
There is a way but by script.

    See this Unity API script:
    https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Material.SetFloat.html

To see all the shader properties.
just click the shader in the Project Panel/Window.

In editor playmode, you can just adjust the silder.

    About ShadowT:
Have you checked the video tutorial?

    Hi everyone,
"SRP Batcher" for both RealToon SRP (URP and HDRP) is coming
and it will be release by another patch for (RealToon 5.0.7)
so that you can use it right away.

    Staytuned for the release later.

    Hi,
Even if you turn off the Exposure post processing in your scene, there still a Exposure post processing but its is global.
To turn off the global "Exposure".
Check this video tutorial i made for HDRP:

    Just turn off the Exposure.

    Hi everyone,
    Unity 2020.2 is finally released.

    *RealToon Built-In is working properly.
*RealToon URP is working properly on URP 10.
*RealToon HDRP on HDRP 10 is not yet, but i'm working on it to add support, staytuned.

*Unity did some changes on HDRP 10 including the DXR/RayTraced and some of it are improvments.

    Hi,

RealToon Properties has been separated in a file named "RT_URP_PROPS" due to SRP Batcher.

if you don't have that means, the realtoon urp package you have dont have the patch.

You'll need to re-download the realtoon package.
follow the steps on this link:
    https://bit.ly/3nvpzZj

*I did tested it on URP 10 and it works like the URP shader.
*Use "Frame Debugger" to see it.

    Did this. Still not batched.
Perhaps I am using the wrong URP package?
There is URP, LWRP and one more in the others folder.
    A bit confused. :)

LWRP is old which is not SRP Batcher compatible, only URP and HDRP.
Unpack the URP one not the LWRP.

LWRP package is for users who want to use old Unity versions.

Have you tried to check it with the "Frame Debugger"?

Yes, it worked now with the URP package, but there are still a lot of calls. 9 with a standart shader versus 5000 with realtoon.

    *Calls should be less.
*Be sure to double check the materials settings.

    Hi!

Ok, I feel really silly
I've been using RealToon for a while in the built-in pipeline in an older version of unity.
I was planning on trying it in HDRP in 2020.2.0f1 but I can't figure out how to install it. (v5.0.7)

In a previous post, you answered another user:
but there's no hdrp package anywhere. (inside of RealToon SRP, there's only a LWRP and URP folder)
    What am I missing here?

    Hi, dkm
maybe you are using an old realtoon version.
    i advice you to update.
Take note that realtoon is not yet working on HDRP 10, but a patch will be release soon to support it.

Currently i recommend you to use unity 2020.1.0 and HDRP 8 and below.

    Really amazing asset!

    Few questions.

    1) Does this include support for dynamic tessellation either via a height displacement map or a phong mode?
    2) Does this include source code for studying/modifying?

    Hi, Anisoft

    1) Does this include support for dynamic tessellation either via a height displacement map or a phong mode?
*Currently only RealToon Built-In Version have tessllation, later on RealToon URP and HDRP will have that.
*You can adjust the smoothness of the tessellation.
*The tessellation is always in phong for smooth.

    2) Does this include source code for studying/modifying?
*The shader code be view and add your code line if you need it, but there is no documentation about the structure code.

    Thanks for the answer! :)
I confirm that the HDRP folder is not visible in 2020.2 (even with RealToon 5.0.7 installed). It does show up and works in 2020.1 with HDRP 8.3 though!

But I personally can't really go back to that version.
Do you have any time estimate for when an update will be available for hdrp 10?

Thanks so much for the amazing response.

Last questions, how is the HDRP toon shader achieved?

Is it via a custom material that uses the existing deferred + gbuffers? (Thus supports any light colors and infinite amount of lights with almost no cost)?

Or does it use a custom light counting solution where u count x number of lights and then apply a forward shader per object that runs through that collection of lights?

Is it a post process screen effect that applies itself on top of the final image per select objects?

Also does this support subsurface scattering?

    Hi,
RealToon HDRP is hybrid, it uses forward & deferred/gbuffers.
Lighting is the same as the Unity HDRP shader.

RealToon is not a post processing, it is a shader and it is per material.
There's an included post processing outline if you dont want to use the in-shader outline.

I didn't include SSS HDRP on the shader because
SSS is always smooth not hard edge so Unity HDRP SSS shader is enough.

You can actually both use together RealToon HDRP and Unity HDRP.
It also blends together to create - mix realistic and anime/toon style.

Hey, I was wondering if it's possible to achieve something like Trials of Mana with RealToon, mainly the colored outlines matching the color they're next to?

    Hi Kin0min,
Did you mean the color of the object will also used by the outline?
If that's what you mean, you can.
Just change the Outline Color to White and enable "Mix Main Texture To Outline".

    Hi,restush96
There's an included package for unity 2019 to later versions.
See the "Other" folder and unpack.
It uses the local_keyword and i advice you to use it.
Only unity 2019 or later versions uses local_keyword.

***Don't unpack the LWRP package on that folder,
It's for users who still want to use LWRP.

There's an included guide to help you setup.
See the "For unity 2019 and beyond and srp user.txt"

@MJQStudioWorks I'm probably over thinking it, but which set do we use for 2020 URP? Do we use just the URP, or do we need to do the 2019 and later one first?

What rendering pipeline are you using?
    Built-In? URP? or HDRP?

Hey, thanks for the new hdrp patch!

I'm just trying it out, and I feel like I must be missing something. Rotating the directional light doesn't seem to affect the lighting/shadows on my material. It's a really simple material (and "Self Shadow & ShadowT At View Direction" is off)

Here's a quick video showing it:

    and the material's shadows/lighting params: https://i.imgur.com/0k1vLbJ.jpg

    Hi, after you update,
Did you import realtoon in a new project?

If not did you click the "[Refresh Settings]" button at the bottom of the realtoon inspector?
It will refresh the settings and apply thr settings properly.

    Are you using HDRP 10?

It works fine and follow the light direction in my end.

    I'm using HDRP10 indeed.
I've just tried in a brand new scene and this seems to be working on the same model, so I guess there is something weird in my other test scene...

Edit: I actually had a second directional light with no shadows (for ambient lighting purposes) and that's the one the shader picked up.

Hey, great asset! But I may have found a bug in HDRP 10 with Realtoon 5.0.7 Patch 4:
    https://i.imgur.com/IMxKtS4.mp4
Stacked objects with RealToon HDRP "Transparent Mode" cause inconsistent rendering. All objects in the above gif have "Transparent Mode" enabled and they pop in and out repeatedly as I circle them.
