i developing a comercial project using 2021.2(short animation for virtual reality) and what i realizing is realtime gi enlight
is working better on 2021.2a10 than 2021.2a15
for the simple fact, after you bake the gi. the realtime indirect light interactions works on 2021.2a10 and on 2021.2a15 not. for other side SSGI on 2021.2a15 looks better. as Realtime Raytracing is a lot more fast and better.
actualy the unique reason i dont use realtime gi for my animation projects is cause emissives are broked
    in realtime raytracing gi
    .

Just to complement the information, the indirect light interactions stoped to work from version 2021.2a13 to 2021.2a15.
i dont have the 2021.a14, so i am downgrading my project to 2021.2a15 to 2021.2a13.

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with realtime GI.
Could you perhaps post some information about the specific issues you are having, and if possible include some pictures for illustration? If you are seeing an issue in 2021.2a15 but not in 2021.2a13 I would love to see.

sorry for the delay, I had the sad discovery that unit 2021.2.017 continues to have the same problem. there goes the video showing,

I would like to take the opportunity to ask if the current SSGI solution will continue as it is, as the current version does not differ much from the first version. and I think there is a unanimity that this is very bad, the old solution (enlight realtime) based on bake to emulate a realtime gi. it is far superior. so i ask: wouldn't it be interesting for unity to adopt the current enlight solution for realtime gi based on RTX. instead of trying to implement your own? how many years does unity promise a solution that is not delivered? I am very satisfied with the results of unity raytracing. but for a GI realtime solution I really start to believe that we are far from something usable.

at the RTX raytracing i am very happy with results, but a little more performance will be very welcomed.
this was my last test with raytracing in unity this little animation was rendered with unity 2021.1. and i make some tests comparing with 2021.2 and looks like we get some improvements on performance but very little

2900 frames at 4k resolution rendered in 25 minutes, its a freaking monster result.

make peace with silicon studio and implement their solution for realtime gi back, enlighten is one of the best solutions for realtime gi

This is exactly what is happening, Ali Mohebali at Unity Tech announced the return of Enlighten Real-time GI support a few months ago: https://forum.unity.com/threads/update-on-global-illumination-2021.1067015/
