    Just purchased the item above to use with the playmaker and to enhance my creativity faster, thanks for the hard work you put in for everyone to tap into, definitely will be awaiting for the tutorials on car/vehicle enter/exit system using cinemachine camera correctly in playmaker....i am currently using unity/playmaker, and my player does well with the enter/exit of vehicles, yet if the car crashes and turns upside down or anything, once i get out the car the camera is now all crooked and the movements are very off, if i get back into a car while camera still crooked, the car is ok to drive (a new one that's not wrecked, yet if i get out that car the camera never reverts back to the Player follow camera......if this package has a better trajectory for car/vehicle system, I will be waiting....Peace

    I'm very unfamiliar with the driving system. I can do a very simple driving system in the future, but don't expect anything too detailed.

    Yes it supports. All you need to do is to change the input settings from the options menu.

    I'm thinking just in top of being able to climb a ladder to be able to hang on a ledge

    The parkour system already exists, just the character cannot hang on a ledge. Most AAA games don't have this feature anyway.(e.g., the last of us)

    Where can i change the Camera Look to Gamepad Right Stick along with the Mouse, so much FSM i can't seem to find the right place to add a Button for the Gamepad RIght Stick camera look add on, what do I use for the system you created, I see the Better Mouse Look x/y, yet not trying to mess anything up, it is setup so perfect, just need proper navigation insight.....Please throw a bone at me.....Peace

    By the way, this is perfect playmaker system setup, much Kudos, just needs a navigation on your setup, everything else is self explanatory, been unpacking this for two days now....

    Go to Input Manager. You have to change the Mouse X and Y settings.

    Make the settings as in the image.

    These settings are for PS4 controller.


    For XBOX controller;
    Axis name of Mouse X is 4th axis and of Mouse Y it's 5th axis.

    Been waiting for it, I can't use it in my own scenes as of yet, it got a lot of FSM's for every aspect of the avatar and I need the actual blueprint to move around and not mess this perfect setup up by reaching, rather have the factual template how to do things.

    Initial feedback after playing around with this for 2 days:

    - Unable to set the properties from the character, unlike for 'monsters', by setting values on the root object - max-speed for sprint is set in a not-all-to-easy location in the 'FSM' for character
    - actual speed and animation playback is not actually synced/related for main char (unlike the monsters that use root motion)
    - The default behavior for the char is fairly sluggish - if the default behavior was more trimmed it would improve the feeling of the asset on first run of the demo scenes (spent a bunch of hours making idle->walk->sprint snappier, now to look at weapon-switching etc...)
    - not being able to crouch-walk while aiming is not a usual behavior in games, should probably be adjusted
    - Jump while walking side-ways (strafing) sends char forward in a mini-jump, making it pointless -- a roll-dodge would perhaps be more in line with what most people would expect
    - allow char to shoot from the hip, if shooting when not aiming - with tripled or more in deviance
    - shift while strafing and walking backwards should still do something, even if it is to only increase the speed of the char by some 20% but interrupt ones possibility to fire from the hip, as nothing happening when player selects a key is in general a bad player experience
    - invert mouse Y behavior seems a bit random on Play, often it fails to stick and one have to go into settings and out to have it work

    other misc:

    - having the gun contain random bullets in mag on first pickup is very confusing for the demo-level, as it is not explicitly mentioned -- first looked like a bug with the bullet-count from weapon before being kept around, due to a chance overlap of small numbers
    - probably would be nice to have it easily configurable if a player should grab a ladder or not on touch instead of space-interact, would also reduce accidental jump-off-towers due to wanting to grab the upper part of a ladder

    How did you speed up the feeling of the actions? I'm trying to make the movement much less sluggish than it is, but end up breaking my project changing things I'm not familiar with? This is a GREAT asset and a huge jumpstart on what I'm wanting to do, but I must be changing the wrong stuff. Any hints at all where to look to make the character movement snappier would be fantastic. Thanks!

    Hi Meka Games, I have eagerly set up your asset on an existing Gaia terrain. Gaia forces the first three Tags in Project Settings so I got some unwanted results like no lighting in my scene and lots of objects showing Colllision notifications. This was after installation and running the demo scenes.
    Is there any way i can use your tags and Gaia (3x) tags simultaneously? Thanks in advance! I hope this will be a core component in my hobby.

    You can use them. Sorting is invalid for tags. just being there is enough.

    Layer order must be the same. As far as I know, these layers are not very important in Gaia. Do you really need these layers?

    I removed them and Gaia terain kept on working. Great, one issue gone.
    Now following your video tutorial i add an Event system. This opens and highlights Gaia UI system. No new event system is being created but this one is openend. Do you think your tps will work together with Gaia 2?

    Hi,

    I sent an email but I try here maybe someone would know how to do it.

    I have a little problem with the Left Hand IK Goal, the transform point is not on my character's wrist like in the video but higher by 15-20cm which means that once placed correctly, like the transform is higher, my character's hand slides down the barrel as I look up and down. My character is in A-pose and not in T pose. Is there a way to get the Ik to be on the wrist?
    (I'm trying but I've only been using Unity and Playmaker for 1 year so I have some gaps)

    I found something that seems to work. I post it if it helps.
    My basic model is large in scale 1.1.1 and to have the same scale I had to put it in 0.8 0.8 0.8. (which must be the problem)
    So I redid the character but leaving it in size 1 and for once the IK goal was on the wrist. But in the end the colliders seemed to me to be smaller than before, so I had the idea of lowering the scale of the animated body to 0.8 0.8 0.8, and I think I solved the problem. I just hope everything will work out.

    If the same thing does not happen to you when you follow the video, that means you definitely changed something.
    It's pretty hard for me to help in situations like this because I don't know what you've changed.

    Indeed, there I had changed the scale of the character 0.8 0.8 0.8 because it was too big. This is what caused me the problem. And as said above, by putting the scale back on the Animated Body, all the colliders seem to be at the right height as before. So I continue the video and later I will write a review. For the moment it's powerful is really impressive I don't regret my purchase.

    Also, Piankhi wrote in the reviews about the sound system for the steps, and that it would not work on hilly terrain. Will there be an upgrade for that use case?

    Also, in the post of Zarkow (from june), there are mentioned some issues, Have these been fixed, and if yes which ones?
