RE: Rolla a Ball tutorial & creating a new background colour material

    In the tutorial the fellow selects the play area background color in materials and some how drags it with the mouse and duplicates it.

    How does he do this because if I try it I get the big theta symbol (i.e. you can't drag and drop here)

    I'm going to take a bit of a guess and ask you to double-check that you're dragging and dropping the material on top of the object in the Scene View, not the Game View. In the video, the scene View is the upper-most viewport but in your layout you may have to change from the Game Tab to the Scene Tab at the top of your viewport panel.
