[Rant] I have an (X) button in the header on every page of Unity

I can't express how much I hate this, especially for someone who has multiple accounts starting with an X.



What does it look like to you? Thought this was some sort of a close button for the first few weeks until I realized I could click on it.

Why not have avatars, or an user icon, or perhaps the full username?

 

Mine shows my initials:

I guess you need to enter your real name in your Unity ID account settings.

 

It will pull in whatever your account name initials are. Avatars may make sense, but we only really use them in forums, connect, and AnswerHub. All three of which are separate platforms at the moment.



I'll see about raising the concern with our web team, I'd personally love my forum icon up there.

 

Is there really no way of directly customizing what's the letters displayed?
