so I have been using unity for a few days now and for some reason this random error message shows up

    Microsoft (R) Visual C# Compiler version 2.9.1.65535 (9d34608e)
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

it doesn't look like an error message but it stops me from even being able to use the editor completely and for some reason this only happens on versions from 2019.x to 2020.x but unity works completely fine with 2018 versions.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Unity?

Why hasn't this been fixed in 2020 versions of unity because I have seen that this is a common problem

    Hi @Random_TH0T,

If none of the other solutions worked for you, maybe there is still a problem as you just mentioned that is not yet fixed on the later versions...

Would you mind to create a bug report?

In that way, your specific situation can be analyzed in more depth and fixed once for all ;)

You can submit a bug report, following these instructions: https://unity3d.com/unity/qa/bug-reporting

    Thank you!
