    Hey,

I am trying to hang a ragdoll by his hand. Once the ragdoll is attached to whatever object it is hanging to, I still want it to dangle using physics, so I do not want to turn on isKinematic. Instead I have a fixed joint (which is kinematic) that connects to the hand rigidbody. However, when I do this, if the ragdoll is moving too fast when it connects, the root pulls away from the hand, causing the arm to stretch in weird ways, before rubber-banding back. Even when the ragdoll is simply dangling, with gravity being the only force applied, the ragdoll twitches like it's trying to pull apart again, but keeps fighting to stay together.

Is there a simple way to hang a ragdoll by it's hand without stretching/twitching problems? In other words, is there a way to keep the ragdoll "tight" even if a large force is being applied to the root only and not the joints? If not, does anybody know of some more complicated solutions to this problem. I've messed around with Configurable Joints a little (freeze motion and set projection mode), but it didn't seem to fix the problem; however, I'm not sure I understand Configurable Joints that well.

    Thanks
