    Hey everyone and @lan094,

    can I write down my thoughts about this situation here? First of all, yes the dev made MANY mistakes in communication for way too long. BUT! never make purchases based on promises! You payed money for the inital asset that was provided at the time (1.0). So you got that for your money. From what I know, a dev is not obliged to update the asset except the asset has bugs that make it usable. But the promised 2.0 release is more of a rewrite and total overhaul with new features etc.

    Not sure what you already tried, but if 1.0 does not work like it should, adress these bugs to the dev and he SHOULD try to fix your issues IN 1.0 INSTEAD of promising a fixed 2.0 version that won´t release for years! If he promised you to fix your problems in 2.0, and your 1.0 is unusable, get a refund instead of complaning tbh.

    If this won´t work. Contact the unity asset store support or whatever directly, explain the situation, link this forum and move on. Find another asset :/

    Dear friend, I see you are so smart before you write, first find out everything and then write before buying, he promised me and said that version 2 would be ready soon four years ago, even more so if you take my claims to this, it makes no difference to me he returned it to me money or not, it’s not a pity it’s 50 dollars I’m ready to pay much more I don’t like it when they cheat and every time the same thing I work, I try to come out soon, I hear this for 4 years now, do you understand it better or what?

    Merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone!

    I'm sad that I wasn't able to release RGSK 2.0 this year and I'm sorry for that, but lots of progress was made and I'm thankful for that.

    I hope to have this update finally released at some point next year and move forward.

    How do you stop the car from understeering? Which settings is it? When I drive and try to turn, it feels like the car hardly turns. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

    When the car go into the side wall, it always change the direction, can we do something so it dont change the direction and remain in the forward direction

    I haven't used this asset in years, but based on my response you just need to put one of the duplicate scripts into its own namespace.

    @lan094. Im using your assdet in unity 2020.3.48. Vehicles are not making any sounds while driving. All opther sounds work, such as the ui , countdown, etc. But the cars never make a sound despuite having all audio settings configured. I have been looking at this to no avail for way longer than io care to admit. Can you explain steps to get audio from all vehicles to work in the scene?

    Well, the author of the asset wrote at the beginning of the year that this year it will be ready, how ready? Is it already the end of the year or how about waiting for next year? or 10 years I’m just wondering why make empty promises if you’re not going to do it remember me 6 years ago the author told me that version 2 would be ready soon and 6 years have already passed and there’s still no result

    I've setup two cars, both have the same setup and settings, however, one run fast like other cars, but the 2nd one is too slow, the acceleration is slow, its just very slow.

    I dont know what this may happen

    Any suggestion?

    Hey Everyone,

    After many iterations and lots of hard work, RGSK 2.0 has finally been submitted and is currently under review!

    Please check the first post for more details.

    For those wondering, I decided to remain silent on the forums until the update was submitted because I did not want to cause further miscommunication and false hopes. Developing this update at many times felt like chasing the wind - there would be moments where it would feel finished but then something would come up that would push the release even further.

    There are still many features and improvements that will be in the works after the initial 2.0 release so please stay tuned for what's to come.

    What new things will be in version 2.0? I'm already developing my game on version 1.1, and I'm satisfied with everything. Will there be any drastic changes compared to it? Or should I not wait and continue working with the current version?

    v2.0 is a complete rewrite so everything has changed. You will not be able to update from v1.1 and also support for this version will be dropped once v2.0 is live.

    There are lots of new features and overall improvements. Workflow is one of the key things that has greatly improved compared to v1.1.The biggest thing that v1.1 has that v2.0.0 doesn't have is a replay system, but this feature will be coming in v2.0.1.

    If you're satisfied with v1.1 then feel free to keep using it but I would advise waiting for v2.0 as it is significantly better.

    Hi, v2 is an update to the same asset so you will not have to purchase it again. It will be free for anyone who currently has v1.

    v1 has many features but the workflow isn't great. This is one of the key improvements in v2 - a better workflow.

    The plan for the future is to wait for the v2 update to be reviewed and then start working on a replay system for v2.0.1. I think replays are important in racing games, so this feature is a high priority. In between feature updates, I would like to be making improvements based on user feedback.

    Saturday and Sunday aren't business days so I don't think it will move up the queue until Monday. It should hopefully be live early next week.

    Yeah, it's production-ready. I have tested it on Android and it runs well. Optimizations will be made where needed as time goes on.

    Thank you for the kind words! This is definitely a big milestone for this asset.

    The road to v2.0 is over but there's still a long road ahead to add more essential features and to make more improvements and optimizations.

    v2.0.0 is now live! It is also 50% off for the next few days!

    It should have been live earlier this week but I sadly had to remove some of the vehicle assets used in the showcase scenes and resubmit the asset.

    A good place to keep up-to-date, give feedback, submit bug reports, share what you're working on, and get support would be over on the Discord server so feel free to join.

    I hope this update onwards will help developers create quality racing games in Unity. Thanks!

    If anyone has run a race session where virtual competitors are used (e.g. in the score attack showcase) then you may have noticed an error log in the console if you restart the race.

    This error can be ignored, but I will submit a fix shortly. If you would like the fix now, either go to the "Known Issues" channel in the discord server or message me here and I will send you a .unitypackage (1kb) that will resolve the issue.
