Quick Question: Export from MotionBuilder 2017 to Unity (Scene with more than 1 character)

    Hi there,

    I am running in an issue here trying to export a scene from MotionBuilder to Unity.
    The scene includes a basic cutscene of 2 characters performing some synchronized stunts together.
    I would like to play this back in Unity.

    I tried:
    1. Plotting the animation to the skeleton for both characters.
    2. Save Scene to FBX
    3. Try import in Unity (this gave me a messed up mesh for the 2nd Character)

    Is there any other way that you know of? Or has somebody experience in fixing a messed up mesh on import?

    As an update to this:
    I managed to get my scene from MotionBuilder into Unity via Maya.

    1. I sent the Scene from MotionBuilder to Maya 2017.
    2. Via the Game Exporter I chose to export individual animation clips
    3. Reopened Unity and there they were, fully working animation clips to construct the cutscene.

    While it does make me wonder why I cannot directly export 2 character animation from MotionBuilder to Unity, I am happy I found this workaround for the meanwhile.

    Still if anyone can help out explaining whats going on or what has to be considered when you export dual character animation from MotionBuilder, let me know!
