Sorry mods, no idea where to put this. This isn't an Editor Support, or an Asset Store product.

I made a little tool that can make your lives a lot easier called Quick Asset Importer.
Granted it's not perfect, but it works and works well.

Pretty much, instead of having to go to the Asset Store window to re-download the same thing over and over again (we all know how slow that is), once you've downloaded it the initial first time on the asset store window, you can use this tool to open up an editor window and just click on what you want to import.

That's really the only flaw with this, it expects you to have already downloaded the Assets you use from the asset store, it doesn't touch the network or anything, so if there's an update, you'll still have to go to Asset Store window and get it.

But for people who want to move on the fly without much disruption, then this is for you.
    FREE MIT License on GitHub.

Just drag and drop into project, go to Window > Quick Asset

I've had this awhile and forgot I had it honestly.
So I figured I'd share it with the community.

EDIT: Upon importing the list will clear, just click "Re-Scan" at the bottom to rescan. No idea why Unity does this, this is why I haven't released it after making it awhile back. But figured you all could find it useful anyways now.

If your open to feedback, a tiny helpful update would be to capture and include the version number in the name (1.8.4) from the store to easily compare what is locally stored vs what is current on the asset store.

    Cool tool warhead!

That is a cool idea, I think I might have thought about that awhile back but decided against it, because I'm not sure if they would like us crawling thier website lol.. Unless you had some other idea how it could be done.

That's the only one that comes to mind right this moment

I think it could be identified during the download - so the site isn't being crawled - that is done manually by the developer. It just includes the version number in the name (in the image above) so the developer knows which version is local. ;)

Actually just found another way to do it. The packages contain meta-data in them, has the publish date, version, etc. :p
    I'll update it soon.

Will be done shortly. Nearly there.

    EDIT:
This ended up being a lot harder than I really expected it too be.
Give me some time, seemed rather simple at first.

Now I'm having nothing but issues.
I'll keep trying it and I will get it eventually.
