[question] How do I install the beta to my Unity Pro 4.5? Doesnt seem to work.

Hello! I've been trying to install Beta 17 but I cant seem to install it on my Unity Pro 4.5. Never installed a beta before so sorry if i'm a noob.

Generally, saying "this isn't working" without saying why isn't very helpful

Ok ill say more details.

Well I have Unity 4.5.2 Pro Installed, I can open it and run it fine. So I went and downloaded 4.6 beta 17 and ran the installer, and it just over-wrote the 4.5.2 pro files and then just opens with the free version.

 

It's always a good idea to keep the older version when installing a beta.

Basically install the beta to a different location than the default or it will overwrite the pro version.
