Firstly if this is the wrong place for this please let me know where it should be. I have a gameObject that I am moving arround the view using transform.Translate passing in the direction and speed and renderer.isVisible for detecting if the oject is no longer visible. Using a Debug log statement I record the current position every frame. If I am going up I get the inVisible false for a y value of 6. I was sort of expecing it to be half of the device pixel height. What is this 6 a measure of? How can I found out what the value of y is for a different device?
