Question about UnityAds and videos

    Hi,

    I just update UnityAds this morning with the new package from the asset store, and it seems there is no video ads available (only picture ads). Is there a bug or something wrong with the new version ?

    I'm using Unity 4.5.1f3.

    ps: btw, I asked the exact same question in UnityAnswers and a moderator rejected it, did I made something wrong ?

    Just a quick update. We discovered a server side issue affecting game profiles created since Sept 10. Testing the game with Unity Ads in editor works as expected, but fails to show video ads when running on the device. We're working to quickly resolve the issue. I'll post a followup here once it's done.

    This issue should now be fixed. Let us know if you still have trouble showing video ads.

    One of my users emailed me an issue where The incentive zone returns a picture ad now. If that ad is clicked It will open up to the web browser with a text output. It does look like the user gets the intensive completed result but it confused them. Not sure to do about this. I also cannot change the default zone using the admin menu. I get a JavaScript(0) popup when i click the button. This is using google chrome.

    Thanks for reaching out. We're currently working to fix the issue of not being able to set default zones in the Admin Panel. The workaround for now is to specify the zone you want to use as a parameter in Advertisement.isReady() and Advertisement.Show() methods.

    Looking into the issue you mentioned your user encountered. Do you know which platform they were on?

    One possibility is that Unity Ads might be trying to show picture ads after it runs out of video ads to show. If no picture ad campaigns exist, this issue might result. But this would only, or should only, happen if the option to "Allow picture ads when no video ads are available (Highly Recommended)" is enabled in the Admin panel.

    Do you have this option enabled for your game's incentivisedVideoZone?
