Question about Unity Patchs and Roll up final releases.

    I read something a while back that concerned me about patches: I read that each patch has various fixes that aren't combined in each subsequent patch, and that the final release is an actual patch "roll up" that combines all the patches.

    Are each patch release combining the previous patch. Example: Does patch 4 include 1, 2, and 3 patches?

    Yes each patch is a continuation of the previous. Then every 4 weeks we release a final release which is just the last patch release with any new fixes that may have been applied between and extra testing by qa. Its all on the same branch internally.
