I am trying to bundle up Amplitude as a package and am running to some issues with the resolver.

Play Service Resolver seems to constantly delete my .jar and .aar files, and not add them back.
Is it possible to get this to work, as part of the custom package?

Newer versions of the Play Services Resolver relies on adding your libraries to the mainTemplate.gradle if you've got a custom template enabled in the project settings.

It is automatically removes libraries if custom template is enabled.
(Because libraries are downloaded from the specified repos as a gradle step instead)

Check your mainTemplate, your dependencies should be there.

Otherwise, check the plugin itself. It should be bundled with dependencies.xml file that contain those.

Use Resolve and it should add them to the gradle template.

I do see the dependencies there, but the files aren't downloaded still into anywhere in the project.
Thanks for the lead, at least i have a place to start with now

Libs should not be downloaded to the project. They're processed by the gradle on its own.

Libs are downloaded and stored in the gradle cache instead.
