    Hi

I wanna give out free assets for practicing purpose.
But I don't know how textures work in Unity.

Let's say I wanna bake textures for a helmet. (shiny metal with glass part)

    1. specular map seems not working well in unity...do I have to just leave it to users to adjust their own specular?

    2. There's no option for transparent map. So...I have to add alpha layer in diffuse map, right? as PNG file.

    3. Do people usually use only two maps? (diffuse color+normal map) adjusting specular map and others seems a bit tricky.

Plz give me some advice, thx ahead.

Actually if you have unity 5 you should be able to set the Rendering Mode of a "Standart" shader to Transparent then change the Albedo (or aka Diffuse) alpha value.

I mean, there is no transparent 'map' option, I have to make alpha channel within albedo map, right?
