Python support on Linux

Hello everyone,

I added the python package to Unity, but I got an error that Linux is not supported platform.
Unity version: 2021.2.11f1

Will python be supported on Linux? or just only on Windows and MacOS

I want to say it was supported in an earlier version, but now I can't remember for sure. I believe they scrapped the way they were going about it originally for a more integrated approach, I would imagine akin to most other software suites with Python support (ex. Houdini, etc) which includes Python and all of it's necessary dependencies instead of relying on system python installs.

I have little doubt that they would release something like that without support for all platforms, it's just that, like everything else out there, it ends up going Windows -> Mac -> then Linux last.
