Games Puzzle. Unique locations

    UPD:
    The beta version of Unfold is already in Early Access. We have been working for many months and now we want to share the result of the work done. The game is under testing. We are looking forward to your feedback.

    We are developing a puzzle game. The player will go through many unique locations. The player can act on the objects. The location can be rotated to better see. Solving one riddle, the player discovers the path to the next riddle.

    Algorithm of gameplay:
    1. Understanding the logic of location
    2. Finding the desired object
    3. Preview animation

    Features:
    - Many interactive objects
    - Each location is unique
    - Unique animations
    - Player choice changes locations

    These animations show how the location appears.

    Quite interesting by just seeing those animation.
    This should be some hard work there. Great job.

    Ancient buildings keep their secrets that remain unsolved until the hero arrives. Location ancient temple for the game Unfold.

    I really love the animations. It is so interesting and exciting so see everything pop up:) The work looks really well done and professional.
    I am looking forward to see a bit of the actual gameplay.

    Wow, that's a well made game!
    I just finished it, except the bonus level that I haven't unlocked yet (on the way!).
    The only regret I have is that it is too easy, because once stuck, one just needs to tap everywhere to find the next trigger.
    It would be more interesting, in my opinion, too add a limit in the taps (not too strict, just to make it a little more challenging). Without that, it feels more like a technical rather than a game to me.
    The hidden bonuses are a great idea, and they have a purpose (not like those stupid "achievements" on PS and XBOX - what a "trend" seriously...).

    How are the animations made? Is it all through programming, or did you make them with a 3D software and then play them accordingly?

    I really want to play more levels now... :p

    PS: your video spoils too much the mechanics of the levels, I could figure out some stuff easily because of it!

    edit: OK, the bonus level designed by Musk himself, right? :D

    About difficulty. We hope to attract as wide audience as we could. Next levels will more challenging.

    Most unfold animations are just animating scale one or more axis by keyframes in Unity. But some objects have custom unfold animations made in Blender.

    This is definitely the problem - how to show the game and don't spoil mechanics. We are thinking about it.
