Put a sword in a rigged character hand

    Hello,

    I have a rigged character animated online with Mixamo.

    I wanna put a sword in his hand so I tried to place the sword GameObject as child of the character's right hand but I don't get the expected result when the model is animated.

    Here is the GameObject hierarchy (see 1.png).

    When I run the game and the running animation I get this result (see 2.png)

    Do you know why and how can I get the expected result?

    Can you integrate the sword into the animations in Mixamo?

    Hi, I could solve the problem by unpacking the prefab completely, creating a new prefab. In this way I could get access to the right hand properly and put the sword there.
