The video and screens are too dark on my Mac, just as they are with your other thread. Might I recommend using a different color for a background than black, and since you're obviously using a Windows machine, boost the lighting so it looks a little too bright on your machine so it will be visible on a Mac?

May I suggest not using a Mac?

EDIT: He has a well finished design and please make sure the only you have to say about it is a complaint on the background because you're using a Mac.

or may i suggest not using a PC :))... isn't your reply a bit stupid ?
lot of folks here are using mac or/and PC tho...ah and by the way , it is generally better to show off a model against a non black background cause you better see it details, so i suggest a close to white background :D

@hp94 - As giyomu says, a fair portion of the Unity community are Mac users, in fact up until a couple years or so ago you had to have a Mac to use Unity. Intolerance of Mac users is not a quality that will gain you many friends here. I gave constructive criticism and you respond with a snide remark, welcome to the community I've just added you to my ignore list. And for what it's worth, I have both a Mac and Windows 7 machine on my desk, I just prefer to use my Mac for Internet browsing.

@rosor - As I said in my original post, on a Mac both your videos and pictures are so dark on a Mac screen, they are almost invisible. If you're trying to sell assets to the Unity community, it might help to post pictures that everyone here can see and evaluate. Just trying to help, no criticism intended.

@bigkahuna : sorry for that as i said earlier i really didn't have time to even create a poor light set up and yep the background is black.... Sorry , yesterday it was really late and just wanted to show quickly what i had... And other users seems to find it too dark too whatever your desktop is ( MAC OR PC )
So sorry for this video, hope you get the idea of this creature anyway .... I only work on PC so i can't test my videos on mac but beleive me it's as dark as you on my side...

Just render with Contrasting color like white for your background. It helps us to see the silhouette of the model and just increase the brightness a little bit for the image, video that's all.

    The model looks great!! :D

@ Bryan A : yep, for sure a new quick render will be done ... I think i'll just use a 128 grey background ( the same i used for the mountain dragon ). I don't think i'll have time to do that today : i have to Z brush the demon for the moment ... thanks for your comment.

bump : model is nearly finished ( some map details to do ... ) here i updated the first post with a quick rendering of one tint among its 3 diffuse maps. I still have to polish animations and maybe to give it some more. I'll post a video of the animations as soon as possible.
    Regards to all

bump : first post updated with new videos and a link to the web player to test the beast. Enjoy !
PS : i had problems in the editor : textures were showing seams ... But when building a standalone they doesn't appear. When i first build a web player i saw seams ... Maybe a problem with my double screen layout. If anybody has the same issue, please leave a message here. Thanks in advance ! ( the video capture on the first post is from a standalone )

Bump : asset submitted to the asset store. Now pending review by unity. If nobody has encountered the same issue as me with the web player, that's fine ... You can still test the beast in the web player through the link in the first post.
    Cheers
