Projecting Game Performance (frames per sec) on various devices

    Hi All!

    I've finished my first low-poly models for my first game. As I continue to refine and add detail to the models, I'm growing concerned that I'm adding too many polys to the models.

    While the game doesn't really fit a standard game genre, at it's most demanding moments it plays very much like a Real-Time Strategy.

    Are there some best practices/guidelines that veterans would suggest? I really hate to build a ton of models and drop them into the game only to find that the game now can't run on X-Hardware.

    FWIW, I'm aiming for PC but would love for the game to also be playable on an iPad.
