    Hello,
I have my project with MRTK and Vuforia (just for marker detection) running on my hololens 1.

I would like to run it (not in Unity Editor) for Demonstration purposes on my laptop with camera.
I tried to switch platform to PC, turn of in Player Settings XR support, I am unsure how to get it going.

If I just start it in Unity Editor it runs fine, I can see my room (Laptop camera, hololens not connected) and my holograms etc. in the Unity Editor.
This is exactly what I Need.

How can I get a Executable or WCF app just like in the Unity Editor without the hololens?

    Thanks a lot!

    Good morning!

I reached out the the Vuforia devs asking about this and it appears Vuforia does not officially support desktop/laptop systems.

Though they said you should be able to run it as a normal UWP app and run it that way (Assuming this is for Windows 10).
Vuforia officially supports UWP on Surface tablets and HoloLens, but should also work on any Windows 10 device so long as there is a connected USB webcam.

    Thanks for the info!

I could not get this working, I expected to see my room in my Laptop which had ist camera on, but I just saw my UI and no room and I could not navigate with my mouse as I hoped….

In Unity Editor I could see my mouse and could navigate.
