Project View File names soooo freaking short, how can we wrap overflow names?

This has bothered me for he past 6 years in Unity. I cannot stand the short file names in the project view. Is there a way to have overflow or increase the length of visible file names? I have to look at the bottom of the project views file path just to see the name as a lot of assets are named beginning similar names and thats all that is visible is like 13 characters of the name.

 

One way is to pull the zoom thingy all the way to the left. It gives you more of a "List" view rather than tiled icons and shows the whole filename:

 

I wish there was a way to display both the full name and a preview file icon. Helps with art asset management. Surprised something hasn't been implemented yet.

One work around is to have two project file views, one zoomed in and out zoomed out, so you can both see previews and the full names:
