project stuck on pause at play

So I have a project that I am working on at school, ad now that its break I have brought it home to continue work on.

I have the entire project and all assets for it.

So I installed the same version of unity that I am using at school. with all of the same plugins. but when I run any scene in unity as soon as it starts it automatically pauses. I can hit unpause and the game will play for about 4 frames then pause again.

this hapens in the demo scenes as well as all scenes that I copied over from school.

This happens even after uninstalling unity and before loading my scenes from school so I think it must be a preference somewhere but I really have no idea where.

I dont run into this issue on my mac or on my windows comp at school. running windows 7 pro on the comp that is having this issue.

any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Weird problem, trying creating a build and testing that.

 

The only time I've seen this is when I have scripting errors that need to be fixed.
Are you getting any errors in the console?

 

You have probably enabled the "Error Pause" in "Console" Window.
