Hey i am a Programmer who always worked in a team of people with all different skills. But recently i started making my own game by myself because for once i just wanted to make the game i wanted to make. Now i am trying to learn level design but i think i could use some help. This is my scene:
What can i improve to make this look better? Im not using any image effects so if you know any good image effect i can use pls mention them. Also the speedtree trees light up when light map is baked anyone know a solution to this? Also how do you make grass look good because i think it looks cheap. And last how to make ground textures look sharp if you look at the new rust ground textures look amazing in that game and it was also made with unity 5.

I think your scene looks very well made.
If you want to improve, I would get some better textures for the road. Also some normal maps would help.
One of the better image effects is bloom. It makes some of the light bleed over objects and looks really nice.
If you want better grass I would model a bunch of quads together facing in random directions. You can use the terrain system to place them around.

Ohh thank you, Um where do i need to add normal maps on the terrain? Because i have but they dont really make a difference maybe im doing something wrong here. Also do you know why the speedtree trees light up as much as they do? you can see one in the right of the image.

Do you have the correct normal map on the terrain? Also do you have normal maps for your other textures?

Also, the ambient occlusion image effect looks nice too.

Scene looks impressive, good job @StarGamess .What bothers me is scene has lot of draw calls, try to use techniques like combine mesh, texture atlasses etc.

Looking into color grading now. Also do you know which image effects rust uses i thing that game looks really nice.
