On a game because I stupidly had profiler open it done the following:

I managed to force quit it around 8GB but I am unsure where it has saved this data and how to wipe it so I can get my hard drive space back?

The data is kept in memory and is not written to disk. Once processed or cancelled memory is freed.

The accumulation of such huge buffer is not ideal and speaks of processing performance issue. Thanks for highlighting it - my feeling is that it is related to threads tracking bug we are currently looking at.

many thanks, not sure why it temporarily ate disk space during still, but it went back up after shutting unity down.
I just closed profiler in my project as well and it’s stopped the issue occurring
