Profile name length/display in forums/answers

Hi - this is a very small (but annoying point).
My company name is Waterlane Studios, which is One Letter to Long to fit on alongside my posts...
This means that all my posts have the profile showing WaterlaneStudio and then the 's' by itself on the next line.

Can this be worked around?
e.g. Is there a way to fit the name length onto one line, or have number of displayed characters increased or allow spaces to be use and words which do not fit onto a line get moved to a the next line..?

yep - even I can see the funny side of it - really annoying though ;-)

 

I agree; it makes these forums look silly.

 

Unfortunately without changing the font there's no way to so... but I do recommend just using the name "Waterlane" as-is, since Studios is merely an affix, and could be spelled out in the signature and avatar.

 

As far as I know changing our username is not possible.

Oh, I didn't know.

 

I just changed my username; it doesn't seem to work..

Edit: okay, it takes some time to update and I had to log out to see it actually displaying.

Thanks for sharing this Hippo, at the moment you can change your username, unfortunatly we don't have a way to scale down the font or make it all fit in one line for you. Sorry about that @WaterlaneStudios.

Yep this is mentioned in the extra information provided by the second link.

 

2nd link is handy... I needed to log out/in to force the change.
