Official Processing Delay and Validator & Livestream outage

    Early this morning (PDT) we had an issue with our backend system that caused some delays in our data processing.

    The underlying issue was resolved, but our data processing is now backed up as a result. There was no data lost as a result of these issues.

    This has the additional side effect of breaking the Validator and some parts of our Livestream feature. (Technically, they are functioning, but they are just significantly delayed, which makes them difficult to use.)

    The primary use case for the Validator is to ensure your Custom Events are formatted and sent correctly during development. As a potential alternative, it is possible to use a network traffic analyzer to determine if your events are sent.     Once the data processing is fully caught up, things will return to normal.

    I apologize for any inconvenience these issues have caused. We are working to make sure issues like these don't impact our customers.

    It looks like the Validator is caught up. I was able to send some events and see them in the Validator. Please let us know if you still encounter any issues.

    Edit: For clarification, only the Validator is caught up. There is still a delay in data processing. We are working to get that caught up as well. But it should not affect development and testing your custom events. It will also not affect Raw Data Export.

    So data processing should be caught up.

    However, now we seem to have another issue with the Validator.

    If you don't see any events in the Validator, either on the website or in the editor, could you please provide the following information:
    • Unity version
    • Region you are in (Country should be fine)
    Edit: All issues should be resolved. Please let us know if you continue to experience any problems with the Validator or the dashboard.
