Question Procedurally Generated Alpha map.

    I want to create a method that will create a UV-Based texture that has the first 50 vertexes of a mesh colored red and the red black. All my possible methods of doing so does not align with the actual location of the vertexes when putting it on the shader. Is there any way I could do this?

    Is using vertex color not a better alternative for this?
