It seems starting with version 4.0.2 when creating a new poly shape it will auto close after clicking the third point. Is it supposed to do that now? I didn't see it in the Changelog. Kind of a pain to work like that.

Hi! Definitely should not do that, yikes! Are you still seeing this issue?

Same problem here. I had to switch back to 3.0.9.

Everything was normal in the morning.

I'm getting this too. Same result for version 4.0.4 and 4.0.5

And to add another note to this. Once it’s closed it only lets you add points to the last edge that was created.

Hi all! Alright, I see what's going on :) In PB 4.x, the Polyshape shows a mesh plane once there are 3 points (minimum required points to be a mesh). The functionality is the same as 3.0.9, but it's definitely confusing if you don't expect it, or are used to the 3.x version (mesh is only shown when you choose to complete the shape).

So - don't worry, nothing is broken. And, we'll either revert or modify this to remove the confusion. Sorry about that!

Yep, that is indeed what's happening. Thanks for the info. It definitely is confusing and makes it a little hard to build complex shapes while there are polys drawn all over where you're trying to click points.

I think I'd prefer how it was before. The previous behaviour made it more distinct when you exit point placement mode and entered extrusion mode.
