I made a very large object in probuilder (2000 units wide) as a distant object and when I try to apply a material to it no matter how much I tile the material I can only see the base color. Have I exceeded some kind of limit in prebuilding / unity for how many times I can tile an material?

Hi! I'd recommend trying this a different way, it'll be a bit simpler:
    1) make the thing, normal sized
    2) apply the material, and get the tiling size you want
    3) scale the thing up and place it where you want it :)

Also keep in mind that more tiling = the image gets smaller, so a nice detailed rock texture at 100x tiling will look like grey mud :p

@kaarrrllll I started preparing a bug report and figured out what I was doing wrong or rather how to fix. If I set the tiling to much smaller than 1 for a big object it does what I would expect. I am on 2019.2.15f1. Happy to submit bug report still if it is of use to you.

    Less than zero tiling.

gives expected tiling on very large object.

Thanks alexrau, no need for a bug report that looks correct to me.
