    Hi everyone!

I'm currently making a project in which I import a 3D file Floor Plan made in SketchUp based on a .dwg file,

I need to make a shape (plane) on top of each room.

As I'm used to use SketchUp and a little of Blender, I'm little bit confused in how to create shapes on the size I need, without needing to enter it's width/length on the Shape Tool or resizing moving the "axis" on the "gizmo".

There will be cases in which it's not a "square" plane, one or more of it's edges will be curved.

I'm also having trouble in positioning each object on the top vertex of each room.

Is there a simple/easy/fast way to do this?

I've watched a ton of videos and cannot solve it.

    Thanks!

I'd suggest enabling "Tools > ProBuilder > Dimensions Overlay." That will give you an in-scene bounds measurement.
