Probuilder Bug with selection marquee

    Hi,

    In 2018.3, sometimes the selection box stays rendering. It's harmless but extremely annoying. For example I was doing a little vertex modelling then hit escape or clicked away somehow and the box is following me around. It's benign - it doesn't select anything because it can't but some silly code isn't checking properly so I end up having to go back into an element mode and click stuff to clear it then come back out again.

    So no biggie, just a bug where the selection box can get stuck updating when it really shouldn't be (ie user is doing something totally non-probuilder related).

    Thanks for the info! I haven't seen this happen for a long time (using 4.x), so I'm fairly certain it's fixed. I do remember it occasionally popping up in 3.x, yep.

    Have you been able to give 4.x a shot? :)

    OH! I thought I was on the latest - 3.0.9, turns out that 4.0 preview 33 is available. Other packages I used under preview are more aggressive about pushing the latest update. I didn't even see there was a higher update (despite having show preview packages!)

    Well...it's just a preview, don't upgrade without a solid backup :D But please do give it a shot, thanks!!

    I am! I love probuilder so much, it's my go-to and main level design tool now. I can't imagine life without it. Still hate pro grids though, off with it for being annoying and invading my shortcuts :D

    Very looking forward to the mesh painting stuff you're doing as well.
