    Hi guys,

I've been using Unity for a number of years now but have relatively low 3D modelling exp.
I've read a few threads and just had a few questions.

Using Probuilder can I build the entire exterior and interior of a level (just walls and floors no assets) and then export this into 3DS Max to edit and add detail?

Is this best practice for keeping the overall design of the level or is it easier to just start again in 3DS and use the probuilder layout as a reference on my second screen?

If so, is it better to export with no textures in simple colours (i.e white, black blocks etc)?

    Cheers for your help guys

You could use the unity FBX exporter to export your probuilder assets to 3DS Max.
You can then replace it with whatever you building in Max.

Do the cubes from probuilder act in the same was within Max? as in can I remove faces, UV unwrap, build on top of etc? or do I have to build on top of it with Max and remove the probuilder cube?

    Cheers for your reply :)

Sadly im not proficient in 3Ds Max so i can only guess but you can either use the geometry from pro builder and extend it or just use it as reference and rebuild the whole level.
